Children treated in childhood for a variety of cancers have a statistically significant increased risk of pulmonary complications later in life, including pulmonary fibrosis, according to a recent study . Risk factors for later development of fibrosis included chest wall radiation and a variety of chemotherapeutic agents.

I too have bronchiolitis obliterans, since 2003. I had a BMT in 1998.
What kind of treatment have you had for it? I am on Advair 500/50.

Hello, I wonder if x-rays used in 1963 can contribute to lung problems latter in life? I was in and out of the hospital in1963 . I recieved many xrays of my chest. The nurse said I wouldn't be surprised if I would glow in the dark from all the radiation used. That still bothers me - Now NSIP(?) I was 8 at the time.

Just wondering. Have a great day!

Deb

"native health" looks like another spam. The "alternative health" is a web site selling native medicine.
