Wow, you have had quite a time!!
I went through a less traumatic situation this summer. My husband told the doctors he thought I had sleep apnea because I seemed to stop breathing or breathed "funny" sometimes.
I went for the same sleep test and it turned out that I have only very slight sleep apnea (stopped breathing 11 times)- no treatment needed, but very rarely that I "deep" sleep three times longer than normal and "dream" sleep three times longer than normal. I wake up tired at times, but it is because of the dreaming I guess- vivid dreams almost every night. There is nothing I can do about it.
So I carry on with the crazy dreams and napping in the afternoon.
Glad yours got sorted out and able to fix it with the c-pap machine.

I just wanted to let you know that I have a friend who was 21 years out from her double lung transplant before she had to have a 2nd one- that was 7 years ago.
I keep looking to her for inspiration.
